So Harold Attinger, a CIA agent, establishes a unit whose sole purpose is to hunt down all of them. But it turns out that they are aided by another alien robot who is searching for Optimus Prime. Cade Yeager, a "robotics expert", buys an old truck and upon examining it, he thinks it's a Transformer. When he powers it up, he discovers it's Optimus. Later, men from the unit show up looking for Optimus. He helps Yeager and his daughter escape but are pursued by the hunter. They escape and Yeager learns from technology he took from the men that a technology magnate and defense contractor named Joshua Joyce is part of what's going on, so they go to find out what's going on.
The film begins by introducing us to the young fairy named Maleficent (Isobelle Molloy) living an ideal and peaceful life in the Moors, which is full of magical creatures. On the other side of the Moors lies the human kingdom which is ruled by an ambitious King. One day Maleficent is warned by the forest guards that they have caught a human trying to steal a jewel from the Moors. Maleficent discovers that the thief is actually a boy named Stefan (Michael Higgins), who she kindly asks to return the jewel. She then escorts him out of the Moors, but when he returns the two bond and become good friends. As time passes the two fall in love, but their relationship doesn't last long once he becomes ambitious. The film jumps forward many years and now we follow the adult Maleficent (Angelina Jolie) as she continues to protect the Moors from King Henry (Kenneth Cranham) and his army. The adult Stefan (Sharlto Copley) happens to be serving the King now, and he and his men are ordered to kill Maleficent. Whoever does so will become his successor to the throne. Stefan heads to the Moors to warn Maleficent of the king's intention, but blinded by his ambition to become king he betrays her. This turns Maleficent's once pure heart into one full of hate and a desire for revenge. When Stefan becomes King, Maleficent curses his newborn infant Aurora and claims she will fall into a sleep like death once she turns 16 and only a true love's kiss will be able to break the curse.

In a world of temperamental dragons and unreasonable humans, patient and reasonable Hiccup and non fire breathing Toothless were both misfits. This one starts off in thrilling style, with Hiccup's friends engaging in a juvenile dragon race, which is a cross between basketball and buzkashi. Hiccup (Jay Baruchel) however, prefers prosaic activities such as skimming with the whales, trying his hand at gliding, and in general running away from the leadership role that his father, Stoic the Vast (Gerard Butler), wants him to don. In one of his expeditions, he comes across a vast horde of dragons, and meets the source of his dragon whispering skills- his long lost mother, Valka (Cate Blanchett). Toothless meanwhile is no longer a pet, he and Hiccup are but one soul. There is a power hungry villain, Drago (Djimon Honsou) in the horizon though, who wants to build and commandeer a dragon army. Hiccup and Toothless must overcome personal loss and fight their heart out to save what they have so painstakingly built.
